As I am a Student Technical Consultant for the OIT department here at Umass - I figured I would comment on this video just to shed some light on certain inconsistencies and fallacies both in this video and its comment thus far:

NO it's not fair and guess what it should never have been a lawsuit from the get go either. First rule don't download from a school service. Get your own private internet service. It's worth the 40 bucks. Get Peerguardian. It's easy for the RIAA to target school since they use a pool of static IP's and are easily traced. I am waiting for one case where they fuck with the wrong person and they lose their case. THey will lose. IP's and name's don't prove shit.

The RIAA is so retarded! P2P file sharing is not what is hurting the music industry. Its because of the depreciation of the US dollar, high requirements of standard of living, & of course the War on Terrorism.
