  • I don't think our children and grandchildren will be paying off our debt because I think we are going to default long before that or we are going to attempt to print our way out and destroy the pound. But our children (hopefully not grandchildren) might have a substantially lower standard of living than we have currently enjoyed.

  • the funny thing is that keynesians were always argueing exactly for that.

now politicians have a pretense to act on it.

  • The next youtube political sensation is not likely to be some wet lefty ranting about discrimination awareness and free university tuition for solo mothers.

  • USA needs another Ronald Reagan - somebody like this guy - someone who can just use his common sense, and stay true to our Constitution.

  • What??

  • It's really not even about the money anymore. I wouldn't mind my children being saddled with debt so much if I knew they would have the mobility to get out of it on their own accord. As it is, they will be chained to the radiator with no way to escape. How fitting that youtube has the "thumbs up, thumbs down" option on the side here, because our children will be forever hoping to be given the thumbs up by some Caesar in a government building somewhere.

  • Does anyone else wonder why, if enormous amounts of deficit spending is good for an economy, all of these geniuses weren't calling for it when times were better? Why not always run gargantuan deficits if it is so stimulative? Or am I just a simpleton who needs to have a daddy in some beurocracy somewhere to "invest" my money for me?

  • Keep up the good work!

    A Swedish/Finnish fan.

  • labour ALWAYS leave the country bankrupt and desperate leaving the tories to pick up the mess. Then they blame the tory governments for taking tough action that is needed because the country has no money. HOW DARE THEY. I HATE GORDON BROWN, THE UNELECTED LEADER OF OUR ONCE GREAT COUNTRY!!

  • He Crushed Gordon Brown! That was like Mike Tyson beating on a 6 yr old girl! I almost had to turn away for pity on old GB!!!lol They Really need this man in the Front Bench, love to see him in a pitched battle on the floor of parliment! That would go crazy on youtube as well...
