  • Stick breaks at 2:54, loses the stick at 2:59, and still on beat. I fuckin love this guy.

  • @redemptioncss I Don't think he "lost" the stick, it looks like he intentionally tossed it since it was broken.

  • his set looks like it's going to overtake him and kill him. but he's fighting his hardest. and WIN

  • @Purefunk4 yes...that is correct

  • @Purefunk4 Yep. As a drummer, I've done that a few times. You can feel the stick getting weak and about to bust, so I generally just toss it.

  • @ascetic43 cant argue with that. he will always be one of my favorite drummers.

  • @betinho1126 I can appreciate your point, but anyone who can drum like that can sit and pout all f'n day long as far as I'm concerned. He's performing music, not pantomime. Cheers.

  • this guy comes off like a total humorless asshole. amazing drummer but definitely wrong personality for primus

  • @redemptioncss Definitely the coolest stick-break ever. He knocks over a huge china boom (behind him)playing Mud also, you can't hear it but his reaction is pretty funny. He talks about it and makes fun of himself in the commentary. I tried to rip it with com but it wouldn't work. Cheers.

  • @Falonefal For some reason I can't rip the commentary... Sorry my dude. You should pick up the disk, it's only like $20 on Amazon, and it's *awesome*. I think most of the songs are already on here: Mudd, Bastards, Jerry, Spaghetti Western, -then some stuff from Laundry, his other band: Ten Gates Back, What is Great, etc. It's all really good. It's called "Live Performance and Commentary" shot in Chicago at a clinic. Cheers.
