I walked into the nice house and saw Lauren crying by the counter. I ran over worried. "Lauren! Are you alright??" I said. Seeing her cry made me almost cry. "Y-No." she whispered. I hugged her. I missed the feeling of Lauren and I. Brother and Sister. "I was thinking. You broke my promise." she sobbed. Promise? Oh right.
"You promise?" she asked. "Promise. Together, together forever." I whispered hugging her.
"I'm so sorry. Lauren I..." "No... Scotty you promised and broke it." she said. She stomped upstairs to I guess is her room? Oh no what have I done...
Laurens P.O.V.
I ran upstairs. Too afraid to tell Scotty, what I really wanted to say. I locked the door of my room and hopped into bed. I cried myself into a nap. All I could dream bout was telling Scotty the truth. Why did I just say goodbye? Actually why did he break my promise. I woke to the sound of a light tap on the door. "Who is it?" I shouted. "Haley!" she called. I opened the door. "And Scotty..." she finished. I looked awful my smeared makeup. I turned away trying to hide my face. "Uhhh..." I whispered. "Its okay go freshen up before we talk." offered Haley. I nodded and walked into the bathroom to put on my makeup. When I came out Scotty and Haley were standing there waiting. "..... Yes?" I said imitating a pretty nice girl from college. "...??? Okay lets talk..." muttered Haley. We sat on my bed and talked through it. "So wait you promised Lauren you would be together forever?" asked Haley. Scotty nodded. "No offense but thats kinda cheesy, no offense..." giggled Haley. "So even if it is cheesy he broke it." I muttered hiding my face. "Yeah I'm going to let you guys converse about it." she said backing out the door and closing it.
"What happens in here stays in here." I said finally looking in his eyes. "Okay..." he said. "Scotty McCreery I love you." I said. I jumped out the window and climbed like spiderman to the roof. Scotty's p.o.v.
What the heck happened? She loves me? Where did she... go? "Arghhh... I muttered. I looked up out the window she jumped out of. She was siting up there crying. I climbed up there. "Scotty what are you doing up here?" she cried. "Just visiting." I joked. "I love you too..." I whispered. We leaned in and hugged it out. She pressed her lips to mine and thats when I knew she was right for me...
Epilogue...
10 more years later... "Lauren?" called Scotty. He had just gotten home from work. "Yea Scott?" (btw now that hes older she calls him scott alot XD it rhymes!) "What are we having for dinner?" he asked. "Umm... I just made chicken. Go get Haley, Casey and James." she replied serving dinner. "Kay..." he said. He went out back and called the three 7 year old triplets, Haley, Casey, and James. "Comming daddy!" Haley said. They all ran inside and ate.
"Meowwwww...." purred a lot of kittens and their parents. Scotty had found his cat Slinky when he visited his old house. Slinky, Alinda, and the kittens. "I'm naming this one Scotty after daddy!"giggled Haley. "This one is Lauren!" exclaimed James. "And this one is Casey!" shouted Casey. They laughed that whole night and finally went to bed.
That night Scotty and Lauren went up on the roof and watched the stars. "I love you Scotty." she smiled. "Love you too Lauren." he smiled back. "Together Forever." she said snuggling closer to him.
