Thanks for the info and YES! setting the dye is challenging. In fact, its a real pain in the neck. But it has to be done and I love the intense colors of dyes better than paints.

I am not sure which video follows this one. (You have so many!) My question is: After the four minutes in the microwave, do i have to do anything else to set the dyes? Are you using the Jaquard green label dyes? That is what I normally use and I set it with the dye set concentrate. It works fairly well but sometimes I lose color. What is the next step? Thank you and I have enjoyed your videos.

@kellbwm1 Sorry I missed replying earlier. Setting silk is the most challenging in the whole process of silk art. Do you agree? I always have trouble in setting color, no matter steaming or microwave or chemical setting. Steaming is the best, sometimes it even enhance the color of silk. Microwave sometimes burn the silk. I microwave the silk 3 minutes each time, and repeat it several times, up to 5 or 6. Does this make sense to you> Thank you for passing by.
