  • I stand with Planned Parenthood!

  • @momuv476 So you'd rather your children either get pregnant or impregnate others (depending on gender)? I wonder what you'll think about "choice" then.

  • The Republicans in the house have gone off the deep end! I cannot believe in this day and age that anyone would oppose family planning. The number of abortions will increase if these programs are de-funded, and the other costs to society will also increase. As the wonderful representative from Wisconsin pointed out, girls who are forced into unwanted pregnancies lose out on education. Who pays for healthcare, food, etc. for poor teen mothers? If their families don't then the rest of us do! W

  • Last year the federal government, thru Planned Parenthood funded 274 abortions. These abortions were rape, incest, and the life of the mother. The House GOP doesn't want to fund Planned Parenthood. Ummm! I hope they are not scratching their asses wondering why the abortion rate is up. Why? Because thousands of women will not be able to get birth control. Roe v. Wade is law. I don't see any Republicans trying to overturn that. The hypocracy and short sided views of the GOP are astonishing!

  • Yeah, Republicans back in the majority; first item? Create those job? Nah; Waste out fucking time attacking planned parenthood, I mean really? This is your concept of well spent time?

Are they serious? Or have they just decided to troll America every time they get majority? Or are they simply mentally deficient?

  • I stand with Planned Parenthood! I've donated. I've signed the open letter and I have sent letters to my both my senators. DONATE! Say the words, but do MORE than just say the words! Take action, small or large, to stop the Republicans. They are trying to make women second class citizens. This is our turn to step up and defend the reproductive rights that our mothers have fought so hard for. For the sake of our own daughters, we must not fail.

  • The Pence Amendment is not a budget cut. The same amount of money will be available to provide services to women even if it becomes law. It is simply redirecting the money to those organizations that actually accomplish the goals of Title X. This amendment is not about whether or not abortion should be legal or even about changing Planned Parenthood's operation. Wherever you stand on those issues, there are many well-meaning citizens on the other side & this bill involves their tax dollars too.

  • Planned Parenthood was there for my mom in the 1970s and Planned Parenthood is here for me today. I STAND WITH PLANNED PARENTHOOD.

  • I firmly stand with Planned Parenthood and am against putting the choice about pregnancies into the hands of a power-over structures. When women lose the right to say over their body, our country takes a nose-dive!

  • I stand firmly with Planned Parenthood!

  • Live Action is LYING to take CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED healthcare options from the most poor, most disadvantaged, and most vulnerable women in our society. We need to STAND with Planned Parenthood, and prevent this right-wing sting operation from succeeding (as it did with Acorn).
