Try textpad people it's really cool and free as well and it offers a great debugging tool

i prefer doodles way i use an IDE(netbeans) but even using that if u want to run a java file at start up you will need a batch file or u can download a .exe converter but good video it is a new way of doing it never seen it done that way b4.

Good video and good method of compiling, i use a Batch file because it is reusable and compiles it by just opening it and you don't even need to type javac.
