@fishdude333 Yamamato was the name of one of Imperial Japan's admirals, the battleship was named after the Yamato province.

A Battleship had several , up to 9 (Iowa- and Yamoto-class) main guns of comparable diameter, That's probably the only similarity. A main gun of an Iowa Class Battleship can fire a shell of 900-1200 kilograms up to 38 kilometers.
This thing could fire rockets at distance up to 5 kilometers with them weiging in at 375 kg with rocketfuel....
I rather do not get in the way of both shells, but I fear a salvo of a battlecruiser more. 9 shells of 900 kg ruin your day better than 1 of 375 kg..

In no way the power of a Battleship, not the range, nor the power.
The sturmtiger was a mortar carrying tank, a shortrange artillery weapon. specificlally build for fortifications. As the third reich was collapsing the need for Sturmtigers was questionable .
.
The range 4-5 km. This gun had ammo tanks based on tigers because it could not bring enough ammo (max 14 rnds); Had to run after each shot, to avoid planes; It was underpowered, had no defence against armor and was technically unsound..
