  • Back for more. This second piece makes me cry every time. Beyond beautiful. Just stunning.

  • @Dracapalley I totally agree with you

  • Oh my, what is this piece called? From 1:40 onwards; chills down my back! This is incredible. Love Tony McManus.

  • The first tune after the "Lament of the Viscount of Dundee" is Dr.Macphails Reel, but it's a long set with other tunes, sorry but I do not remember all the names, but all are in Tony cds

  • The piece is on the "Ceol More" cd

  • Thank you for this! Tony is a true master! I got so fond of his music, a couple of years ago, that I ended up buying a guitar from luthier Christopher Melville who has built two guitars for Tony. A big investment, great instrument and worth every penny!

  • Tony did a really great concert here in Italy, he played this set at the end.

I tried the Tony's Melville guitar and it's a really great guitar, you did the right thing!

  • Speechless!!

  • the tune starting around 4:10 is Andy Renwick's Ferret by Gordon Duncan.

  • The sustained drones Tony gets on the open strings while simultaneously crafting those intricate interweaving melody lines is quite impressive as well. I've always found that to be a hard technique on the guitar, and here Tony sounds like his open strings are sustaining forever without any help from his thumb.

  • Its insane, i tear up and get tingles throughout my body, does anyone else get that when they listen to pretty music? I might be crazy for this shit. but it changes the way i feel.

  • @axeldam28 I also love my Melville! Good buy.

  • @ScottWelchGuitar DAAEAE im afraid my man, is a lovely tuning!

  • I wonder if his guitar is tuned to dadgad?

  • I can feel the love, adventure and pain-sooooooo nice my man!

  • Truly amazing! I think the last two tunes are The Devil in the Kitchen, which I believe is a Strathspey, and Andy Renwick's Ferret by the late great Gordon Duncan.

  • effortless. only a true player can achieve that tone and accuracy... let alone for 6 mins straight!
