  • yea i highly doubt this will work at all. He made it look like this is professional.

  • @verefiedxL Did you even try this? Nothing is ever guaranteed, but it has worked for many people.

  • i tried this and followed the instructions to the tee. still no video and only sound. please help its my sons xbox and i cant afford to pay for someone to fix it or buy a new one.

  • @smschulte1 the no-video issue is common, and will lead to the 3rrod. try my newer video.

  • What did u put on the bolts

  • @littlede1996 those are called washers.

  • FUCK YOU MICROSOFT

I shouldn't have to spend 5 fucking hours fixing this expensive ass console. Why the fuck does my NES still work while my xbox doesnt???

don't buy your shit from china next time and expect me to pay 100 fucking dollars to repair it.

    fucking asshole jews

  • nice products they make when customers have to fix them themselves. Now I'm not a PS3 fanboy, buy my PS1 has worked flawlessly since 1998. These modern consoles sure have nice graphics but they fall apart in a year or two. Had to do the x-clamp fix today, hopefully that piece of shit comes to live again.

  • @StateCCM EXACTLY!!! i was just asking myself this yesteday!! why does my damn NES thats 20 years+ old have NO issues and works like a pro!!

  • @RobbieHct This does work more then half the time. Usually when this happens with a graphics card on a computer, cpu in a laptop, or on a computer. The amber processor failure light comes on. This is rare, but this is the cause. It would appear 360's and newer hardware (that is built for performance on one task) like computer will have to have their thermal glue cleaned up and reapplied.Or it will melt off to the side. Like computers

  • Ok I did instructions to the letter... I turn it on and I have 2 flashing red lights instead of 3? WTF? Fans start full tilt, then stop right away? What do I do now? Please help 2 weeks til Xmas & I can't afford another piece of crap from microsoft.

  • @StateCCM Eric Cartman?

  • what kind of bolt are you using for this because i dont see what you are using for it is it the one from the heat sinks or from a hardware store.

  • @verefiedxL it does and depending on how well you do it depends on how long it will last.

  • don't do this on your lap... heatsinks hurt falling on your foot :(

  • also !!!....Make sure your fans are cleaned and running smoothly...even if they look clean they can have some issues. you can put them in destilled water powering them by 12V battery or 12v psu and leave them for 20-30 minutes and they´ll run smoothly again :-)

  • I had a hard time understanding this error but eventually I figured out that too much heat from the heatsinks transfers to the PCB....so instead of buying a kit I found out a clever little solution to it.

Just remove the clamps and heatsinks and put duct tape over the holes on both sides of the PCB...make a hole so you can mount the heatsinks and put the clamps back on ;-) hope it works for you also. Regards Anders

  • Will silicone based heat sink compound work in place of the arctic silver?
