I love this song. I was driving around San Diego and the Donny Hathaway "Live" album happened to come up and I fell love with this song and with the Donny Hathaway "Live" album all over again.

It was probably a bad idea to try to cover a Donny Hathaway cover of a John Lennon song in the time that it takes for me to do a load of laundry (sorry about the laundry machine noises in the background). There's no way I could ever do a John Lennon song (or Donny Hathaway's rendition of it) justice, even if I took my sweet time. I tried with "Come Together" at my CD release show back in June of 2008 which went alright. With some songs, I just have to share because I feel them in my soul.
