  • First Cargo Plane ever made: German made AR 232 made in 1941 :)

  • The one thing caught my attention was that it could transport ready to work medical faculties, machine shops and other such that would be invaluable on the modern battlefield of the time. Most likely it did not make it into production due to CONgressional infighting among members that didn't give a rats but about anything but their own agenda !!!!! The drop and scoot aspect for it's time was exceptionally original.

  • @basserase Lamentablemente se utilizó durante el bloqueo soviético a Berlín.

  • @TheRunereaper Just what I was going to say!

  • Check the people at 0.46 standing almost on the flight strip...LOL Love these old time aviation videos.

  • @basserase Try searching for "Sikorsky Skycrane" or "Mil Mi-10" The Skycrane was originally designed to carry a standard container which could be loaded with anything but theese days it is used as a crane.

  • Is this the forerunner of Thunderbird 2?

  • that is actually extemeley smart

  • Not bad looking without the lower fuselage.

  • Looks like the airplane version of the Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane.
