no because you can not be offside if the opposition plays the ball only if your team plays it when your offside

people who dont understand offside have never played the game with officials involved.....also there is two ways which you cant be offside when recieving the ball from your team mate.....if the ball is passed forward by any of you're team mates and you are in you're own half then you are NOT offside...and if your team mate plays the ball to you but he is beyond you and the ball is coming backwards to you, i,e if team mate was on out on the byline corner flag area and pulled the ball backwards.

there was a few of these types of goals back in the day in the prem, keepers just didnt think it could happen, but now if you watch when a keeper rolls the ball out before he kicks it he allways has a glance over both shoulders.

He can't be offside since the goalkeeper "gave" him the ball. Hence, the ball wasn't played forward.
