We bought the new phone at the AT&T store on release day July 11th, took it home to activate, and can't access iTunes.

  • I bet you have the new iPhone 3G S? Our problems were from last year, but I expect the same problem has come back...too many phones being activated and AT&T's system can't handle it. Try every few hours until it works.

  • The problem was not the charger, it was the interupption of service that many experienced on July 11th - and has since been resolved. The 1st gen charger works just as well with the iPhone 3G, as well as the iPod.

    My reply from last week said that after a few hours, we connected and all is working as advertised.

    BOUGHT MINE FROM 02 TODAY AND ALSO BRING THE SAME MESSAGE I CAN SEND TEXT AND CALL BUT WHEN IT COMES TO SYNC APPS AND MUSIC IT JUST DOESNT WANT TO KNOW ANY HELP PeOPLE WHO MIGHT KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS AWSOME PHONE ApPLE DONT WANT TO KNOW SAY ITS MY FAULT

  • yep itunes crashed or something because there were too many people activating the iphone all at once!

  • If you are still not connecting to register your new iPhone 3G, take it back to the store and have them look at it.
