@tom9730 Actually there is. Europeans (Mainly in England) made the English language. When the Europeans came to America they brought that language with them. Over the years, many English words have been changed and added to the American native language. Also, there are many different accents embedded in America. Even though people still call it English because it's basically the same words, we speak American NOT English in America.
