The only place we were able to go railfanning today was Altoona, PA due to the rain in the area we also had plans to go railfanning at Cresson, PA but due to the rain we did not go there.

  • Great vid. I used to go to Altoona to railfan alot. I have relatives that live in Tyrone north of Altoona. Also have you been to the horseshoe curve od the railroad museum? There is a lot of history to Altoona. This mainline in altoona used to be the fifth busiest railway in the world back in the late 1800s to early 1900s

  • @IIDragonslay3rII Altoona is a awesome place for railfanning. Yes also went to Horseshoe curve and Gallitizin tunnels to go railfanning i have those videos up on my channel, also went to the Altoona railroad museum and ive learned alot of history while i was there. Thank you for the comment

  • great video!i never seen DPU's on intermodal?

  • Great Video Aaron! I like the catch at 16:00 minutes. 2 Thumbs Up Man!!!!

  • Wonderful catches! It looked like you caught two ACe's in there! Added to my favorites!

  • Great catch on the blues leading that eastbound coal. It's a shame you didn't make it to Cresson in spite of the rain - I've seen some good fog there in weather like that; with the signals and the locomotive lights it makes for interesting shots. Even if the rain takes a turn for the worse, Tom never seems to mind you taking refuge on the Station Inn porch. :)

  • Awesome video
