@Kevinch1 although he definitely pronounced his Rs much more clearly, most likely due to his living in Connecticut for a couple decades at this point

my favorite professor at UConn was from somewhere along the Penobscot River, closer to the coast, and he loved to talk about Maine. He definitely spoke like this. His voice was raspy and he had a definite story-teller quality to his voice.
