You're absolutely right, I remember the 2nd season closing being as big and brassy as the 2nd season opening.

Anyone have a clip showing the original S2 end credit music? As I recall it didn't have the "Charge" ending of S1.

This is actually the Season 1 music over the Season 2 titles, which was done when the show was remastered for cable sometime in the 1990s. William Lava's actual revised Season 2 music has a little more of a rougher edge to it and doesn't flow was smoothly as the Season 1 score.

I liked F-Troop, even though it only ran for two seasons. My favorite episode was with that rock group on the show called "The Bedbugs", which was supposed to be a takeoff on The Beatles. Also, how Corporal Agarn (Larry Storch) went ape over that group.
