@Jeycihn Yes, easily the worst. I stopped it cold, as a teenager, and thought after 24 hrs ''this is easy'' [I was unaware of the long halflife then] but then 2 days in, the withdrawals really started. My legs and bones hurt so much, and I had no strength, waves of fear crashing over me.. nausea, .vile stinking sweat...then , took some more, two hours later, felt right as rain. methadone withdrawal seems to go on for weeks. [prescribed it since 1979]

Im an oxycontin/opiate addict, and when I would abuse 120mg of oxy in a day intravenusly, it proved to hard to kick. I started methadoone treatment and my initial dose was 35mg of liquid methadone. All I know is that I would puke numerous times for about a week untill my tolerance built up. I can also say 6 years later and Im taking 160mg of liquid methadone daily. No side affects anymore at 160mg so education on dosage and tolerance is key. My prayers are with you. USE CAUTION WITH METHADONE!!!

Too active and busy to get high or be a drug user? Ha. When I was a young teen I was busy all the time playing sports etc. year round till I got sick of it and just wanted to hang out. Imo having too much or not enough time are both not good things.

shit!!!!! i just took 5mg of methadone and got on youtube and this was in my recommended videos!!! shit!!!!! it is god telling me i'm about to die!!!!!!!!!!1 fuckfkfkfkckfckfuckfu

first time i took methadone i was sitting in my car smoking weed and took half a 10mg pill. about 30 minutes later i was like shit i don't feel anything so i took the other half. about 3 hours later i looked at myself in the mirror and my pupils were like needle size then i started puking. my h/r was so slow.

Idk methadone gets a bad name cause of this shit. In my opinion it's the cure all drug take ur dose and ur good for a day or two cause it's stored in ur liver so when u dose again u have a surplus from the day or two b4 that still. It's not like oxy or hydros or any other pain killer where take it every so many hrs. And u wake up in pain the next day. I guess alot has to do with ur tolerance of the drug too.
