The 3 launches were with a untried brand new motor and clutch setup first try. i had to get a feel for clutch and traction. I was not trying to do a burnout.................I was trying a firm launch. Where i come from...................."Spini
n' ain't Winin" but it is a trip home. -

Hey, nice dress up! I have a question for you, when you did that 1230 kit, did the mid range revs smooth out? My 84 GS1150es has had this nasty buzz right from the beginning that blanks out my mirrors from 4 to 6K on the tach. Thanks!

@KP11520 Seems like there might be some vibration around 4500 and a little mirror shake.............but nothing bad. From 4k to 8k it pulls very strong. I have a 09 Busa and I think it will pull right beside it. I had the valves readjusted and it really smoothed out. I want to take it to the drag strip hopefully in the next year.

Thanks. It's been tidied up a bit - 1229 pistons, cam, ported, mukuni carbs, and streched a bit. It pulls hard.......and I love the sound. I had a 80 GS1100e but sold it......regret.
