  • The Ecovacuum project held at Brussels last year said that vacuum cleaners are wasting electricity.

    The MTP tests found that "Air Recycling Technology" could save 75% of the 2 Terawatts of the electricity, vacuum cleaners use which saves 1.5 TWh or the output of 800 wind Turbines.

    This is worth £225 Million annually and 650,000 Tonnes of Co2, in the UK alone. And a saving of more than 25 Twh of electricity annually is possible in the EU. Equal to £3.25 billion and 13.5 million tonnes of CO2
