Sad about the above top comment about AIDS in the 80's... I was just starting college and writing for the newspaper. My first assignment was on AIDS and had interviewed men and woman about this disease... we did not know nearly as much as we do now.... it was very scary back then not knowing...it was just running rampant, causing so many deaths.

@loyd246890 So sorry! I remember being underage with my friend Richard back in 1982 and he snuck me into the Palledium in Chicago, I remember the same thing you do.....he passed away and I remember that mentality like he had it coming.

Super music.
As a gay man I remember this song during the Reagan administration when their attitude seemed to be that if you contracted AIDS you got what you deserved. I remember gay men dancing to this song with tears in their eyes. I think that the immediency of the background sounded like some kind of warning. A lot of my friends from that period didn't live until 2011--and this song still breaks my heart.
