I love how Europeans hate on the U.S. for our gun use. I'm sorry Europeans don't leave their mommy's house until age 30, drive 1.4 liter 3 cylinder cars, and are afraid of guns. In the U.S. that person is called a wimp.

@Drawnsbyme I have met Euros with common sense in the US. The west in general is brainwashed by the media. Maybe one day our nations will wake up. I carry my gun concealed legally for protection and its a good hobby.

@Avatar9n, ammo? yes - 8mm Mauser military rifles? no. Some have converted the caliber of 30-06 machineguns to 7.92 because it's cheaper. Hmm maybe you can get an MG74 in 7.92... Talk to the Europeans about that. You'd need a demo letter here.

@Avatar9n, yes, but maybe they can churn out one in 8mm for old times sake. I know you can convert them, swapping some parts (barrel bolt) with the original 42.

This was held in northern Arizona, USA about an hour northeast of Flagstaff AZ. The shoot was discontinued. It reformed into "The Big Sandy Shoot" which is the current event, held March and October in Northwestern Arizona near the town of Wikieup. Australia can't have private weapons such as this. Remember the bull dozers?
