Make Your Own Country!

Your mission, (should you choose to accept it), is to create your own country. You don't have to agree with the kind of country I set up. You can do whatever you want with it.

You can basically do what I did, or you can approach it from a far more detailed, political and legal perspective, or you can approach in a far more abstract, cultural standpoint, focusing mainly on the nature of the society and culture of your country. Even though I didn't, you can create a population and a national history if you want, and you don't even have to make it your *ideal* state - you could create a nightmarish, dystopian dictatorship just for kicks if you want (either because you just want to experiment, or you just have a sick sense of humour :D).

However, if you do want to participate in my little experiment, the following is MANDATORY.

- A territory (either a new landmass, or a new country within or in spite of current national boundaries)
- An official name.
- A flag.

And remember - the main thing to consider when creating an entirely new nation out of thin air... is to have fun :D

@LatumWay 1 - I don't think you've been to Westminster lately. Besides the handful of structures, such as stonehenge, what tourism hotspots do you think people go to? Castles, crown lands, all sorts of living artefacts. These generate more revenue then other tourism spots.

2 - There are many structures that the royal family owns that are not just for living. Is living in luxury a bad thing? If they pay back more than they take, what's the issue with them living in luxury?
