My mother used to sing and write this song for me when I left my village - she had great love for all her children but among all those this song she always associated with me saying my son never forget her maternal love with me. She passed away some 32 years before but I never forget this and always remember my mom - moms are always great lovers for their children and do what ever they can for the happiness of her children. May her sould rest in peace - aameen

These are the kind of songs I use to listen to with my dad. They are wonderful songs which also remind me of my time with my late dad. It's strange that 12 years after his demise, i STILL MISS HIM SO MUCH WHENEVER I HEAR THESE SONGS.

,CeylonSW1 ..Hai friends,Wait I am also coming with you.How wonder..there are people like me mad on numbers like Bachpan ki mohabath ko. Violence, conspiracy, sabotage,w ar,evasion and what not in this worst world -stay alone for a while and hum tunes of 60s or 50s...atleast these feeling unite us.Forget Bin Laden and Gaddhafi and not Rafi or Lata .Pray for their rebirth to sing for us and make our loved parents to hum it again!! -
I have to sing this song in school function as students of 10th class were passing out from school and I was in 9th class, the year was 1957

Guess this song was meant for all our parents childhood friends and loved ones.
Life was very very simple honest and straight forward and full of trust for them.
I remember listening to these songs on SW1...Ceylon if Iam correct.

I used to hear this if I can remember when my father use to turn on All India Radio morning broadcast to East Africa when I was about 10 years old in Nairobi Kenya.
