YOU KILLED THE DRAGON!!!! :'( Meanie! You should have used the dagger to cut the bucket off the rope, then fill it with water to throw on the dragon and his fire-breathing becomes steam and he's so embarrassed he rolls the boulder away and leaves the cave. :)

I clocked a 5 minute 42 second run of the original VGA version myself.

I never noticed you could give the acorn to the rat or the egg to the troll; I have always gotten the cheese from the witch and the goat from the stable. I'd probably beat my time doing it your way.

Awesome speedrun though. Great job.

This game is doing my head in. I haven't used any kind of walkthrough until now because I just CANNOT catch the condor. I have done it exactly as it shows on here, I have slowed the game speed down to the lowest but he never jumps high enough. I have been trying for about half an hour and I am ready to give up and just load KQ2. Any tips??? I just can't grab it.

You should speed it up to 30 seconds and tweak the colors and what not.  Then get your friends band to play in front of it projected up against the wall. That would be trippy.

@satarnag You spell the alphabet forward and then backwards:

Now, match Rumplestiltskin to the corresponding letters above - r = i, u = f, etc.

Rumpelstiltskin backwards didn't work for me on the gnome's name. I had to use ifnkovhgroghprm How they came up with that name, I don't know!
