When Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater.

  • Oh Ms Piggy, U re so adorable princess, love uuuuu ; )

  • A very abrupt ending

  • why does jason have earphones in?

  • @Kathington Jim Henson, with all due respect to him, is dead. Disney and Jason Segel have saved the Muppets. Disney loved the characters enough to bring them back in all the amazing internet shorts that have been released. Disney's the reason they're back, and The Muppets was single-handedly the best film I've seen all year. Disney can put their name on The Muppets all they want as long as they keep treating the brand like they've been doing.

  • Ryan Seacrest's afraid of the internet?

  • They should try for a GONZillion!!

  • "Fuck Facebook!" - James Taylor

  • Jim Henson created the Muppets. Disney just put money over it.

  • @Kathington Me too, but check the Muppet website about it. They've brought The Muppets and Bear in the big blue house. Nothing else, and It's still Henson's team doing it all. Before Jim died he was trying to get Disney involved because he thought Disney was the perfect home for The Muppets. The deal closed in 2004 and thus, more Muppet films and programs are coming our way. See it as the Henson's going "Disney have money and equipment that we could use..." Jim will never be forgotten

  • so a bazillion is a recursive number. it's a one with bazillion zeros.
