@Victor20376 Totally agree. I always tell people I know that Belgian beer is the finest in the world; they are the world leaders! Hoegaarden is my favourite beer; Leffe is nice too.

Nothing I've tasted since compares to Belgian beer - not German, Dutch (which is very good also) Italian, French, Polish, Czech, Greek...

@svprovidence "Great beer" indeed, but Belgian is the best... especially Vlaams bier (from the northern part of Belgium). If you once have the opportunity to drink Duvel, Westmalle (brown) Brugse Zot, Palm, Hoegaarden, Tempelier, Kasteelbier,and (the very rare) Trappist from Westvleteren, please, don't mis this chance... you will taste that those beers are top-class (^_-)

Why haven't Komets been draged near to the american bomber formations? It's range was too short , so if the Jerrys would have draged it by something like an Me410 close to the bombers it would have much more time to attack. It was originally a small glider so it must have worked. It's armament should be different also - two powerfull Mk 103 under the fuselage instead of the short range Mk 108s.

What amazing people and engineers. This is a classic demonstration of what makes the German people unique - building their way out of the enforced starvation of the 1920's into the cutting edge of aviation, electronics and other technologies through the 1930's. Too bad that the late thirties ended in yet another unnecessary fratricidal European war. German technology and martial spirit could have really ended communist tyrany before it went globally viral. (All This & Great BEER TOO!)
