These are the new palms that I just planted in my Canadian garden in St. John's Newfoundland.

I hope to do update videos on these palms in the future.

  • @mikejjpage: The palms that I have planted in my garden, are they all originally from Banana Joe (The Sabal Minor L, Needle Palm, Fortunei and Wagnerianus)? I thought you had ordered some palms from Florida also, or maybe they were different species?

  • Awesome looking Palms, Yucca & Banana. Mike sells quality plants and those Waggies are beauties. Love that Sabal minor too. You should see how Scotty protects his palms in Ontario. He does a very good job and his plants look great. I shipped a bunch of my palms to Mike. I wonder if those are my SSI seedlings you have there?

  • @BananaJSSI Actually my seedlings may have originated with you Joe, I will ask Mike about that as I am curious to know because I hear your seedlings are tough and hardy Canadian grown palms.

  • For July the average high here is 20.3 C. The average low is 10.5 C. Together the average temp. for July is 15.4 C.

  • Great additions Neil! You're well on your way now! I bet those small trachys are originally from banana Joe. I know that Mike got a few from him. My largest palm is from Mike. Great place to get palms in Canada. It's an addictive hobby! I bet you're already planning your next purchases..

  • @ScottyOn1 Yes Mike got some from Joe but I think he has ordered Waggies from Florida also. You're right, it's an addictive hobby!
