  • Whiel I loved this didn't randolph carter live til his fifties and somehow trancend time and space in the "silver key" and later books?

  • @GrayGhost2020 Yeah, he did. Randolph Carter was kind of Lovecraft's standin character for himself. In retrospect it would have been cool to have the character look like him.

We decided since we may or may not get to the other Randolph Carter stories that his dying would be a good way to wrap this one up. If we do get around to it, oh well, not too worried about the continuity :)

  • What about The Outsider? Or maybe The Beast In The Cave? Might those translate well to short animation? Just making a few requests.

  • @seanmatthewrosen @seanmatthewrosen I've been thinking on some ideas for the Outsider! I still haven't quite worked out how I'd do it though. Obviously you need to keep the only character hidden until the end, but I'm not sure I like a first person view for the whole film. Hm.

  • So sweet Plz make more asap

  • Very great work. I loved this and your Terrible Old Man video.

I have a question though. If at all answerable. What's your going rate for having a very, very short film idea animated?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Very nice work. Lovecraft would be pleased.

  • @GrayGhost2020 in short, yes.

  • @ItalianWesternReview Yep, we're doing The Temple! It's coming along slowly and is over twice as long as this one, but it'll be done eventually. :)

  • @EldritchAnimation

Perhaps the next logical step would be to do THE UNNAMABLE, another short with the character of Randolph Carter. Though you offed him in this incarnation you can set it up as a prequel (of which I'm certain Lovecraft had in mind anyway being that he is of sound mind during the beginning). Or perhaps THE TEMPLE? Much potential there.

MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS and INNSMOUTH are much more difficult to condense due to length. stick to shorts like THE HOUND or FROM BEYOND

  • amazing, subbed

  • Hi, my name is Warren. And I'm sleeping with the lights on tonight.
