Or, Hamas could put down their weapons, stop hiding like the cowards that they are in with the general population so that they do die, they can stop shooting & torturing their own people, and negotiate peace. But they don't want peace, look at their own charter which clearly indicates that. Yet the Koran clearly states that Islam should support the existence of Israel and welcome it. Abbas says to the West, "I want peace" and to his own people, "I will never negotiate peace".

Hamas is just an Iranian puppet. They don't represent the Arab people. When Israel handed Gaza over to the Palestinians, Hamas took over and has ruled by fear and intimidation. It literally ran the Palestinian Authority out, killing and arresting those who couldn't escape. It is an evil group that needs to be destroyed outright before there can be peace. Look how much better life is for the Palestinians in the West Bank. There is no comparison to Gaza's Hamas rule.

The good news is that Israel has recaptured or killed many of the terrorists that it released in the trade. Bibi has all bit silenced Hamas and its rockets. It's hard to compare a soldier sleeping in a tank within the 1967 lines to Hamas which strapped bombs on Palestinian children and told them to murder Jewish children by committing suicide. The adult terrorists who sent those child soldiers than hid behind civilians. Why ddn't they carry the bombs? Hamas = cowards and war criminals.

The Palestinians including Hamas have recently requested and obtained UN recognition as a state on the 67 borders. We will know when the Israelis want peace because they will stop taking Palestinian land in the West Bank and will start giving it back and reducing illegal settler numbers.. I'm not holding my breath because their immediate reaction to the Palestinian UN initiative was the complete opposite to this.
