Please Read:

-This shows, to my laziest ability, how to avoid having YouTube ruin the audio/video sync upon uploading your video to the popular video-sharing website, YouTube.

-Basically the theory behind it is to ruin the audio/video sync yourself, so that when YouTube comes along to ruin it, it actually fixes it ;p

-This is for WMV-rendered files. Other file types may react differently to YouTube's crazy antics. Don't ask me about other file types please.

-I'm sure, if rendering as a WMV, that this technique will work with other programs... but I use Sony Vegas, so don't ask me technical questions regarding other editing programs, because I don't know how to use other programs (I don't even know how to use WMM!!!)
:'(
P.S. Don't offer to teach me how to use WMM.

-Playing the video in HD on YouTube sometimes changes the sync a little bit as well, sometimes not... you can experiment with that if you want.

-I used the Animatrix : Detective Story for my mini-edit here.

-This is not my voice narrating. It is my Grandma. I'm shy with my voice.

-I made this mostly because I've seen other people's videos suffer from the problem, but explaining it in words is very labor-intensive.

-If you can't tell the difference between the videos, then it's no big deal... To beat-sync fiends like me it might help though.

-Stay Sucka Free.

-This was not an AMV.

  • can anyone tell me how can i keep the sound of video but delete the video? i mean i want only sound of this video. plsssssss

  • @ti5ko Right click the audio and look for something that says Groups? I think? And then find something that says ungroup or something like that. This should separate the audio and video so you can delete them separately I think.
