This is a 13 foot toothpick model of the ilfated SS American Star by Chicago Folk Artist Wayne Kusy. The ship is a work in progress, only a skeleton seen here at the Village Hall of Algonquin. Currently, it is 85,000 toothpicks and projected to take around 150,000 to complete. This is the lastest of ocean liners by Wayne Kusy. @MrJuicyHamburger You picked a good ship. Is it toothpicks? If so 7 feet will take some time.

Many thanks Dalek! It is already being exhibited. That is both good and bad. Good because it generates other interests, bad, because i cannot work on it while it is out!
