There needs to be "official" libraries full of black literature set up on either online virtually or specific buildings across America so young blacks, especially males, can be exposed to reading and the power of knowledge at an early age.

there's not a college in america that doesn't have all these books. 'we' need to not be afraid to walk into a college library and read.

hmmm, I'm gonna definitely check those books out... I gotta add a few books though for young brothas.

1. & 2. "What Makes the Great Great" AND "Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice" both by Dennis P Kimbro.

3. "World's Great Men of Color" vol 1 and 2 by J.A. Rogers

4. "Up From Slavery" Booker T. Washington

5. "The Miseducation of the Negro" by Carter G. Woodson

Wow, Michael, I enjoyed this video very much! You gave very interesting synopses about those black literature books for black men. I have two nephews who will be going to college soon, and I would love to get these books into their hands. Hopefully, I'll be able to get them from a local bookstore or library.
