Another recent purchase of mine. This new model Hi-Point 40 S&W has a different styled trigger (much smoother) than the standard models. The trigger is very smooth and seems a little more consistent between pulls (more to follow on that).

  • @RickyCBR929 I must be poor then.

1700 rounds out of C9 and only a few minor malfunctions.

  • Look at this as a good choice I just got my 9mm and it fires like a champ! with night sights and shipping 480 with 3 mags, add the factory rebate and its 430. You get a basic model and you are looking at 360ish? I am willing to bet they have a store nearby you. quantico tactical.

  • i love my hipoint 9mm pistol shot atleast 500 rounds through it no problems thanks for your service

  • First off, thank you for your service to our country. On top of that, thanks for the review. I've been considering the hi-points for awhile for a cheap "truck gun" since I do not really want to keep my sig's or glocks in my truck. I'm thinking hi point might be a desent firearm for that case. I have the 995 carbine and I am VERY happy with that. Take care and stay safe.

  • @RickyCBR929 You'll be on your knees crying like a little girl if someone has it pointed in your face. Go somewhere else tough guy.

  • thanks for vid. there is so much bad-mouthing hipoint line. i think a lot of guys assume low cost to inferior pistol. and, then the gun snobs. you made a good point to comparing it to others in its class.

  • good vid bro. i really like the triggers on hi points.

  • just bought a high point to this exact model in green, cycled 50 rounds through one hick up, got online some people were stateing they were unsafe, i emailed the company still waiting for a response till then ive been reviewing and seen some good stuff, if your like me then i intially misjudged the .40s&w caliber i got a pretty descent kick out of what i was expecting to be somthing close to a 9mm however i learned quickly to compensate got the sights on target and fires descent

  • ive owned the c9 and the 40cal carbine. both great guns.

  • Thanks for the info...seems that there are a lot of nay-sayers out there, some of whom have no problem forking over ten times the cost of this pistol; only to finally admit that there are operational issues (fine tuning, break in, ammo brand & bullet weight/velocity, etc,.). Thanks for your service.

    God bless.

  • Nice video lots of good info

thinking about making my first pistol purchase and this helped a lot

  • Excellent video, I am seriously considering buying one of these. Thaks for all the good information
