Visit my website at http://clutterbug.me/printables for a free copy of preschool sight words to print and cut out for your own WORD WALL!

Teaching a child their alphabetic, numbers, phonics and to read can all be done with the same, easy to do system. Focusing on one "Letter of the week" or "Word of the week" is the best and easiest way to help your child learn and remember.

Repeat, repeat, repeat. That is how children learn best. I tried a letter of the day, that was not enough time to get it into their long term memory. Pick one a week and refer to it everyday for just a few minutes.

In no time your child will know their ABC's and be reading.

  • Just, I liked to feel this sensation again and I can confirm that works, is like your brain requires data all time. Do you remembre the movie? Simple it's awesome! I recommend to try it at least one time, then you will have another point of view.

Please feedback me when you get it

  • try organizing the "word wall" by the alphabet. so when your daughter finds the "letter of the week" amongst all the other words, she is making the connection that the word "the" starts with "t" and can automatically find "t" and then find the word underneath, and other words starting with "t" in that group. This is how classroom word walls are done - just an idea for you.

Also, try labeling every day items in your home for your kiddos to recognize and read. (bed, chair, light, door, etc)

  • Thank u u have the best ideas thank u for putting it out there

  • Oh Shoot I guess I should have been hooked on phonics , I meant to write PRETTY NECKLACE :) .
