I grew up listening to and watching Whitney Houston. She was an outstanding singer who never compromised her dignity as so many women performers who followed her have. She did it right and will be missed. Thanks, Whitney. May you rest in Christ's peace. I'm sure He loved all the beautiful songs you sang about Him. Prayers going up for those who are mourning....

See lots of comments here where people are suggesting this performance was somehow lacking and that one day Whitney will "get her voice back", etc. Well I don't claim to be an expert...but as a professional singer of going on 30 years now, I believe that there aren't too many healthy singers today who could do what I just heard in this recording of Oh Holy Night. Rest in peace, Whitney.
