Haven't been to San Francisco? Haven't ever Taken a ride on the Cable Car? Now you can! The Whole Cable Car Experience, in HD!

San Francisco's cable car system is the world's last and is an icon of San Francisco, California. Cable cars operate on two routes from downtown near Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf, and a third route along California Street. Man-powered turntables turn the cable cars around at the two ends. The Cable Car Museum contains galleries which allow the visitor to overlook the main power house.

  • Thanks for the video. My husband and i are leaving july 8th for san fran and staying until the 15th, then headed to seattle. How was the temperature and how did you dress for it? Thanks again.

  • @MyOrchid123 Great! Both cities are Wonderful! The temperature was better than we thought, 70's during the day. But at night, it got pretty cold haha. But that was in June, so idk about July.. But bring warm clothes just in case! :)

  • @halcaannen Make sure you get the MUNI Passport or the City Pass Clipper card, which is still $14 for a 1 day. Otherwise, with a regular Clipper card, the cable car conductor will scan the card, $6 dollars will be deducted from it and you'll be upset when you go for your next ride and the card is depleted.

  • Thank you so much. Got me emotional. The raw sights and sounds brought back so many memories, treasured parts of my life that remind me of how I left my heart in San Francisco.

  • @phatbootyluvr SZo That Means i can so ride it IT it with THE CLIPPER.

  • @halcaannen If you are going to ride the cable cars more than once, I would recommend an All-Day-Pass ($14, cash, as of 02/23/12). A cable car ride is $6 per ride, which means if you get off and get on the next cable car regardless of the direction, it's another $6. With an All-Day-Pass, you can ride the Cable Cars, buses, trolleys, and MUNI as much as you want.

  • SOME MUCH FUN
