i remember running out of gas on this game and have my sister push me into pit stop

@breadrack the engine sounds are very nice when you're revving with the nitro engaged jeje... when you feel the car is accelerating slower, change to 4th gear and so =)

@breadrack if you take the white car, with manual gearbox, engage the nitro in 3rd speed, actually the car goes even faster than if you engaged the nitro in 5th speed, and if you're racing on Germany on the third course, you can get speeds really amazing with this car, and as you say, the car will get to a point where there win't be engine sounds jeje

try getting it going so fast, that the engine sound cant go any higher and your car goes silent, until the sound comes back within 'range' of the snes sound chip... heh. Used to play the heck out of this when it came out (was in middle school). Pretty awesome game.
