  • Cured MirrorCoat can be scratched by knives and sharp ceramic nubs on cups, etc. Treat it like a harder version of a dining room table top finish. It is not as hard as Corian or synthetic countertops as it does not contain mineral fillers, which increase hardness. Well cured MirrorCoat can be sanded, buffed and polished to remove scratches.

  • One problem with this otherwise helpful video. This product does NOT cure overnight, as mentioned in the video. The technical sheet for Mirror Coat- from the website- states 90% cure after 72 hours and full cure takes a WEEK!

STR, was this a mistake or a misleading fib?

  • Can MirrorCoat go over another film finish like a wipe on poly?

  • How hard does this mirror coat get exactly?

  • cant wait to try this out
