This video covers next section of setting up a character model ready for animation in Flash. As a working professional in broadcast television, I have found the principles described here to be essential for a successful production.

The way a character is organized in Flash is essential to the speed and enjoyment of the 2D digital animation workflow. Without proper setup, the artist becomes confused and frustrated fighting against the program rather than working with it.

THE BENEFITS OF A PROPER MODEL:
Consistency of workflow for all animators, easy to pose, a growing library of reusable animation, quality control (especially when outsourcing), projects finished on-time and on-budget.

  • Hey, how do you assign a Hot Key? Please reply Stancruse.

  • Flash has "Keyboard Shortcut" preferences which are found in different places depending on which version of Flash you are using, and whether you are using a Mac or Window's based PC. Check under "Flash" menu on Mac, and under "Edit" (I believe) on PC.

  • I will post more soon. Been really busy.

  • flash is to expensive do u know anything for free

  • Not really. Flash is the most cost effective entry into professional animation.

  • Hello i am trying to follow your steps however i have a problem. Everytime i Draw a circle i get an outline of black. Kinda looks the same as yours; however everytime i try to move the object(circle) the only thing that moves is the inside. It only moves in parts. Also i cant send an obeject to the back by hitting control down arrow or up arrow. Do you know why?
