  • Cool! I'm glad that people are experimenting with lots of different escapes. The real take-home message of the video is the concept of "What Limbs Do I Have Left," and that can be used to create all sorts of different escapes and counters

  • @afrogracie im not sure about that is what i ment to say. sorry

  • the're are a few mistakes with this move, like what if its a full guard or being rolled over when putting your knee on his chest. going to the oppisite side is the fundamental way to escape but after that im not

  • He sounds like Cartman. Haha!

  • I find that by bringing up the knee I open myself momentarily to bridging sweeps - would'nt sliding to north-south be more efficient? That way you immediately nullify the choke, have better base and a stronger pin, and it's much easier to isolate both of your opponents's arms.

Great instruction BTW, please don't take my remark as smart-alec - it's just that the main problem here as I it, is establishing a firm top position - the choke is ineffective without guard/half guard anyways.

  • What about putting your shin across his face?

  • thanks for that!

  • @Daggerfall40 noticed the same thing
