this is a howto guid to installing configuring and using the Knockd demon on a linksys WRT54G/GS/GL router running DD-WRT.
Knockd demon can be used to execute commands on the router remotely and without openning (forwarding) any ports.
in this example i am showing how to open an RDP port remotely. part 1 of 6

  • i dont realy understand what u mean... its a deamon... it doesnt have a ser inteface... u configure it like i show in the vids and it works in the backround... if u whant to know that it is running use the "ps" command, it would be there in the list.

  • great vid, but i have downloaded the program, but im not realy shure how to use it, cant u make a vid and show what u are typing just to get started (with the program)
