If it is true that Frank Capra wanted to introduce her to Hollywood , it would have been a Great great Chance. His film " It happened one night ' was the first film to grab all top Oscar awards Best film,Direction,Acter & Actress This 1935 film is the basis for " Rajkapoor Nargis film " Chori Chori " almost frame to frame,including first seen to last seen. Raj kapoor just resembles Clark Gable in this film and Johny Walker too -Arani Apparao-Hyderabad-A.P.

Madhubala suffered from a congenital heart problem called "atrial septal defect" (hole in the heart). Surgery to correct this was only available in the mid fifties in USA. She should have gone to USA for this. A trip to London for surgery in 1960 was too late. Frank Capra (the famous Hollywood producer / director) wanted to introduce her to Hollywood in 1952 but Madhubala's father would not allow this - because she was the family breadwinner. If she had gone to USA she would have been cured.

Its simply cruel fate that Madhubala had to die so young. Its said that there was no current remedy for the kind of heart problem she had. Christian Bernard performed his first heart transplant sometime after she had already gone. Such is life.
