• Women are not oppressed in the workplace.
• The glass cellar keeping women from the worst jobs

  • I've discovered thes video yesterday and since, I've been watching them at every change I get. I'm delighted at the end of every video and want to see the next.

You gave names, to feelings I've had for a long time. About how I consider having wasted 2 years of my life studying art in college in a program populated by 95 % women and obviously made for them. Having seen these video will with no doubt influence me and my writing in the future and I cannot thank you enough for that.

  • @oralyon Thank you and I'm glad the films are of benefit to you.

  • There's also variance in intelligence. It's been well established that while men and women have the same IQ, men have a higher variance. Thereby, even without discrimination of any kind, we'd except more men at the bottom and more men at the top.

  • Indeed, you're right. This is briefly covered in one of the Education films to come.

  • When are we going to see "the battered woman" film?

    I can hardly wait.

  • Well, that one is tricky because of footage I want to include but may not be able to. I'm having to make lots of compromises in re-editing these films.

Anyway, it should be ready in the next 10 days or so. Glad you're keen!

  • It's videos like this that will one day make television obsolete. The intelligent man finds propaganda machines like the BBC offensive. They are an insult to his intelligence. Media companies do themselves no favours by neglecting to mention key factors like the glass cellar, which has far reaching consquences in the world of employment and of men and women.

Another great one MWM. You are doing us all a great service.

  • Gender inequality against women as told by... men? I wanted to throw up while watching this. These people are telling me I don't really want equality because I choose to not be a plumber? We're all baby machines so we all must suck at leadership and running companies. That we need to be protected from ourselves? What you are trying to disprove exists right here in this tripe of a video.

  • I take some offense to people mentioning that jobs like the one's mentioned (glass cellar jobs) are "crappy". Sure they are unpleasant, dangerous, dirty etc. But they are important. Someone has to do these jobs for society to function

  • @manwomanmyth You sir are a scholar worthy of praise.

  • I experienced this first hand working a seasonal shift, around christmas, at a department store. all the woman were either sales associates or cashiers that were hired seasonally all the men I knew that were hired on worked down in the receiving docks.with me. which involved starting at 4 am unloading 3 trucks of heavy merchandise in below zero temperatures by flash light while we waited 3 hours for the light and heating to be turned on. Sad part is I know their are much worse jobs that men do.

  • Laughed my ass off at the Supergirl clip, not only because of how relevant it was, but also because she looks like she barely knows how to fly :P

  • @manwomanmyth He probably picked cellar because it's underground, and less noticed. Incidentally, I have seen one woman bin collector on a YT video by an MRA. He was showing a news story that had been on TV, were female carers had won the 'right' to be paid the same as male bin collectors. They managed to find a female bin collector to interview. Probably the only one in the country! LOL

  • A small example. Tom tells Susan not to go with him to the business negotiation and Susan says, "Don't discriminate me as a woman! I am just as equal as men!" On the way to the meeting in the train, Tom gets a seat and leave Susan standing and she says, "I am a woman and you make me stand!"

  • When things are to women's advantage, they don't put gender into the equation; for example in my country women don't serve mandatory military services, women don't get canning, law biased towards women etc. HOWEVER, if things are to women's disadvantage, they put gender equality and discrimination into the equation.

  • @superraiden

Because we're busy working longer hours.

  • the hatred is strong in this one.
