Mamba monster max speedo, Castle Neu 1512 - 2650kv motor on flightmax 3s 5000mah. 2nd test run on this set up, runs for 20 minutes and motor didnt pass 120 degrees.

u should of went with the short course combo 3800kv for a car this small thats capable of 6s and cheaper... Just imo

Well ........ no, beacuse the SCT combo is a smaller motor, it has a 1/8th shaft which can break, this motor has a 5mm shaft. Plus 6s on a 3800kv would be 84k rpm, so the most you could use would be 4s. On this motor (2650kv) it can go upto 6S due to the lower KV and still run cooler, also the Monster max speedo has much more reliable BEC at 4-6S.
