lol, I thought that was a dog thing!

A well-composed and overall favorable YouTube experience.
I've only ever taken my cat in the car, but it's the same look on her face: O hai look at all this stuff that's MINE, and I didn't even know about it.

Thank you for this cute video. I am a former resident of the Boston area and the former owner of an Abyssinian cat (not at the same time) and I wonder how "Boris" would have reacted to the passing scene.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment - I appreciate it. Sadly, Gun-Hee is dead, but I have his half-brother, Jake now. He and I go out in Boston and I post the photos on my Daily Abyssinian blog (abyaday dot worpress dot com)
Come and check it out! :-)

Very cute video. But I had comment on that "Charlie" song: It mentions that his wife comes down every day to the station to hand him a sandwich. Why in the world didn't she just give Charlie a nickel to get off?!!

LOL!
I have been asking that exact same question since I was about 5 years old and heard it for the first time! I have no idea!

Even better: Why didn't Charlie take more than 10 cents w/ him in the first place? I assume he was going to make a return trip back home!
But alas, maybe they finally let him off the day they shut down the Arborway line! The song did state that he was going to Jamaica Plain and that was the last stretch of Green Line to use PCC cars @ the time! :)

I think that he didn't bring extra money because he didn't realise that the fare had gone up - hence the "fight the fare increase" protest aspect of the song?
He started out on the Red Line, though: He handed in his dime at the Kendall Square station...
Maybe there was a surcharge to change to the Green Line back then, like the one they used to charge at the ends of the Red Line?
