The wall cut is a very cool transition where it looks as if the scene appears on the other side of the wall.

Text Tutorial (in case you weren't paying attention...)
--Dolly the camera sideways across the room up to a door frame or wall (any edge to use as a transition point)
--Keep moving until the wall is 100% out of the shot.
--Go to another place and dolly the camera the same direction and speed as before.
--Combine the two clips by having the second clip enter parallel to the wall with a linear wipe transition.
