MARYLAND, USA: Sam the painting dog. Holding his brush like an old master, Sam the painting dog is the Leonardo Da Vinci of the canine art world. Using the lush surroundings of his home town of Eastern Shore, Maryland as his muse, Sam's paintings are attracting a loyal art world following. Selling for up to $1700 for an individual work, Sam has put his brush to 22 different canvases. Using his tailor made paintbrush, which he holds in his mouth, Sam approaches the blank 16inch by 20-inch canvas with his mind made up to make some modern art.

  • @Sweetassour Like painters to get money from their work

  • My dog won't even hold a bone let alone paint >.>

  • @xXForbidd3n3vil Listen to what she said. She didn't say that a single painting sold for $1700.. She said that his 'paintings' have (in total) amounted to that much...... They most likely don't sell for more than $30 each at most

  • those paintings sell for $1700? what is wrong with the world...there are artists who paint for a living and actually do good work and cant make enough money to support themselves...if the money is used for the service dogs then its a good thing i suppose but if not then what has the world come to..

  • not every dog could do it. they'd chew the brush

  • I sure as hell hope this is done in the spare time, rather than on the company's time because I'd be pissed if your spending time training a service dog to rub a paintbrush on a piece of paper, rather than training them to guide the blind. OMG by the standards from the price that person paid, I could have my dog place a paintbrush on the top of a piece of paper, let the paint drip down the front of it, and sell it for $200. Hook me up with that person's number and I'll have my dog do just that.

  • Cute!

  • Any dog could do that.

  • WTF did i just watch?
