It is a very 19th century view of male/female 'status' you have here. Educated modern women do not see themselves as 'the prize'. Nor should any man meeting a woman for the first time have this notion of being some kind of predator. You begin with a terrible assumption which seems to deny the equality you then go on to espouse. Just try seeing how friendly a woman is and look for common interests. HUMOUR is very important. Forgive me but you seem a little robotic. Warmth and humility will work.

@mr1001nights A true capitalist, eh? =P

@mr1001nights i dont think all women are exactly like how fireinthedawn said but alot of them need security as men are still seen as providers. i think status and class is separate and you can project confidence and superiority even over a bum in a ferrari imo. stuents are not rich but you can sell the potential too. how would students get laid if status was all about social class? we're one up from the jobless and homeless

@mr1001nights Also, would you agree that what women find most attractive is a man's status (as they perceive it)?
-
It seems that what you're saying is that women dictate social standards....... ?

@anarchosolar and you are alright boy, you're alright...

@mr1001nights I worry that you are right. Years ago, I tried to learn this stuff, and hated myself for it. I just felt dirty. I eventually decided that it wasn't worth it, and that I'd rather be alone than to sell out who I am. I felt that anyone who would respond to this stuff wasn't worth dating in the first place. Consequently, I have been alone for a long time, and rarely get a second date. Sucks to be human sometimes.

@Fireinthedawn They don't view it as levels and classes. Just as you would, a person seems attractive/exciting or not. In tune / appropriate responses helps open those opportunities.

I hate you. Please die.
Let me be the first to say this: If a woman evaluates potential male partners in a system of hierarchical judgement about how some people are just "not in her class"-she isn''t a very good person and worth dating in the first place... All of the cynics who believe in social status and class can go die in a fire for all I care. I don't want anything to do with ANY of them.

...yourself for your own sake, and those who appreciate you are the ones you should be with anyway. Don't worry about trying to please anyone IF it means changing yourself. That is, if you are happy with yourself.

I TEACH that u should release ur expectation of outcome & I warn against analysis-paralysis. I teach to "try and always improve" & strive toward UR BEST self.
However, I teach about dating, not insect navigation or particle physics. In the realm of attracting & dating women, improving has a lot to do with magnifying the psychological features within u that display tribal status. U can deny it if you want, but then you have to explain what u mean by "improving"

The problem for men like me (i.e. computer programmers) is that a lot of us are somewhat nerdy and have not developed social skills very well. I think the following needs to be reflected upon:-
1. HOW do people talk when they converse with others.
2. HOW do people make facial gestures and head movements when they talk to others
This is something that interests me, and it's a damn hard thing to learn.
